Situation
Adventus was engaged by a leading gene therapy company to help define portfolio strategy. We were asked to define a strategy that balanced company value creation with the funding requirements needed to successfully develop and commercialize each program.
Adventus Role and Outcome
We conducted commercial assessment and valuation of each program in the portfolio, analyzed probabilities of technical success, funding requirements and potential value creating milestones and provided strategic recommendation for each program. As a result, the client was able to make well informed decision on which program to fully retain and internally develop and which to partner to maximize long term value of the company.
